WELCOME TO RESCUE VEHICLES, INC.

Rescue Vehicles, Inc. was founded in 1990 by my father Richard Partridge, Sr. as a spin off from C&R Fire Apparatus, Inc. We have been at the same location since 1978 and have been servicing emergency vehicles for more than 40 years. Prior to the passing of my father in June of 2021,  I accepted the position of President. This was done to allow us to continue business without interruption of sales and service. My father instilled in me his commitment to carry on our practices of honesty, integrity and compassion for our customers and employees. Early on in my life my father encouraged my education and I possess a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology as well as a lifetime of experience working under the leadership of "Senior". Early in my career I took a position with the state as a highway inspector and quickly realized that I missed being at the "shop" and working on "really cool trucks", so in 1995 I began working full time at RVI and never looked back. This company is my legacy and my passion.

Our Product Line & Expertise

Since 1999, Rescue Vehicles has been the exclusive sales and service representative for Seagrave Fire Apparatus on Long Island. In addition to representing the highest quality apparatus in the industry, we are experts in servicing all brands of emergency vehicles at our 8,000 sq ft facility in Bohemia, New York.

We are founding members and past officers of the Long Island Emergency Vehicles Technicians Society. We are also an ASE Certified repair shop and employ ASE and EVT Master Certified Technicians and are factory trained for many OEM’s. Our capabilities and expertise enable us to work on all makes and models of fire apparatus, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles. If your fleet has more than one manufacturer, we can support all your needs to keep you up and running when repairs are needed. We are a fully equipped mechanical, fabrication, welding, and collision repair shop with a parts inventory related to emergency vehicle repairs.

As a Seagrave sales and service representative, we are proud of the many deliveries that we have brought to our island and look forward to many more deliveries in the years to come. Service

When it comes to service Rescue Vehicles is here for you. Our shop is capable of servicing even the largest of your fleet and we have the indoor capacity to do so without your apparatus sitting outdoors for an extended period of time. In addition to in shop service, if you require on on-site visit or roadside assistance, we are ready and able to accommodate your needs. We also pride ourselves on our preventative maintenance program to help  you keep your equipment in tip top shape.
